From Tokyopop: Girard and ViVi are special government agents known as "Right Arms" whose job is to seek and destroy people who have become "infected." In this world, a weird virus that turns people into monsters has run rampant and the only way humanity can survive is to keep tight control on those who are infected. If the virus' symptoms appear, the person must be disposed of. It's a tough world where women and children must sometimes be killed to prevent the spread of the virus.

The story is about a man who is a medicine seller. He hunts mononoke (demons) and kills them by using a sword. However, before unsheathing his sword he first needs to learn of the form (katachi), the truth behind the human tragedies (makoto) and the reason behind the evils (kotowari) that gave birth to it before killing the demon.

"Help me paint a portrait of my true face!" demanded a man named Sein as he appeared in front of the painter, Lou on a street corner. Living together as a patron and an artist, Lou discovers that Sein is actually a vampire. After getting to know him, Lou begins to hope that Sein would drink only his blood, and no other's. However, Adam, the mysterious man who seems to be very close to Sein, might have something to say about that.

Yashiro Tenshuu killed 4 people, and is now on death row. However, a secret government organization is willing to take him off death row if he allows himself to become a test subject to an experiment that requires a killer's intent.

With that desire in mind, he trains daily in an abandoned building in modern day Tokyo. But on one such day, he comes to what looks to be a scene of a crime and feels the culprit might still be nearby. Will he make it out of the abandoned building with a broken knee? Is there more to his power than meets the eye?

Orochi is a girl not of this world, that much is clear. Among a few other unique qualities of her, she is immortal. We follow her through the monstrosities she witnesses in her ongoing life; the terrors and horrors of this world considered 'supernatural', the real, true meaning of 'vain' and a few mysteries that are, perhaps, inexplicable, to name a few. Though they do not happen to her in particular, she does try to help out of the goodness of her heart. For the better or for the worse, that much is unclear.

Reiji is your typical high-school student living with his big sister Ayaka. One day he stumbles upon a pair of bracelets on the sidewalk. He picks them up and tries to find the owner but gets sidetracked as a bag snatcher runs his direction. He tries to stop him but is stabbed and killed. On the brink of death he hears a voice from the bracelets "If thou wishes to live form a contract." What has Reiji gotten himself into? And what exactly does the contract entail?
