The main character is Loki, the Norse god of mischief. After causing boundless trouble in the land of the gods, Loki is banished to the world of humans and transformed into a little boy. To get home, he must collect "evil auras" (evil spirits), so he sets up Enjaku Detective Agency, specializing in strange and paranormal cases to make his search easier. For better or worse, he attracts Mayura Daidouji a mystery-crazed teenage girl who quickly appoints herself a member of his detective agency. Soon more gods come down to the human world to kill Loki under Odin's order. Just why is Odin trying to kill him?

Orochi is a girl not of this world, that much is clear. Among a few other unique qualities of her, she is immortal. We follow her through the monstrosities she witnesses in her ongoing life; the terrors and horrors of this world considered 'supernatural', the real, true meaning of 'vain' and a few mysteries that are, perhaps, inexplicable, to name a few. Though they do not happen to her in particular, she does try to help out of the goodness of her heart. For the better or for the worse, that much is unclear.

A spirit was floating in another world's dungeon, missing its memories. Eventually "he" learned to possess other creatures and using the bodies of the beasts in the dungeon, made his way to the outside world. Dragging a young female knight, a pretty young lady, and even a beautiful mercenary into the mix, our protagonist begins his great adventure in this world.

Quiet girl Yechan can see a person's inner thoughts instead of their face. But this ability and its troubles keeps her distant from others. When a boy with not a thought but a proper face appears, he's the one person she just can't read. Yechan's world, and heart, are about to turn inside-out!
