(It has a bad ending)

The last 10 chapters were complete a** ngl, characters fall apart due to a lack of development, a large example being Matthew. like why would bro do allat. MF got ZERO character development, exact same mf as the first time we see him, does nothing relevent, barely contributes to the plot, like just accept the title dude. Him accepting the title would just be a better choice than the alternative. They could've also liked, did a massive curveball where the duke names elizebeth as the duchess. This situation near the end is so trash bruh 💔🥀

Also like, the most powerful woman in the nation (princess) would lose her title when married off, but avery can get the duchess title cause of some extremely convenient plot point bullshitted from no where. This is so a** dawg. Its such a roundabout way of writing the story to make the MC's world sunshine and rainbows.

Also, for a mawha with 100 chapters you would think characters other than the MC could be developed. But, nah. Author didnt do that. Characters just feel like empty whiteboards with gibbersh written on there by dried out expo markers. 
Also, this plot is so stupid. The duke has complete power to name his heir. Bro couldve just chose his higher accomplished daughter who was 100% more fitting to rule and just didnt want to? This was such a big plot hole ignored so avery could get the bitchess title. Also im pretty sure elizabeth and avery both run the xx build, so like what was the point of allat? The last 10-20 chapters bring this series down so much.
