Usually, my reviews about great mangas focus on something special about them, a distinctive trait that makes em pop. No, wait, my reviews focus first on insulting y'all. Then the unique traits. But still.
I'm gonna talk about Lloyd. Lloyd is one of the best written characters I've seen. And Lloyd is scum, too. Lloyd is unpredictaby chaotic and methodically unhinged. There is something diabolical about him. Something unholy. I've seen greedy MCs, but never such... Untetheredly unashamed ones. He is like a terrible, horrifying avalanche of desire. I see him putting people into what is functional slavery, and I clap. I look at his disturbingly capitalistic schemes and I smile, vacantly.

It would be so easy; writing a simple one-dimensional funny man who loves money, I mean. But Lloyd is a person. Lloyd is full of emotions, full of regret, full of determination and vivid joy. He is clever, hilarious and so very adorable, in his fuc*** up, avaricious altruism. Lloyd, among other things, is a complex, but ultimately great person. And in the end he is what makes this manga one of a kind. Not that the rest of the cast isn't expertly written too, but he is just exceptional.
So yeah. Outstanding writing. Balanced, uniquely good. Read it with a good translation elsewhere, and this is a comedy that will make you absolutely lose it plenty of times.
As for the art, it is full of hot men. And I mean full. The expressions... Oh g**, you can't even imagine. Exhilarating. The visual gags are among the best I've ever seen.
Lastly, it can be impressively spicy in the action department, but this is an engineer's wet dream. And the amount of retribution on assh**** is so juicy it rivals the comedy component. A pacing so reactive I got a radiation poisoning from it.
Honestly, it's practically perfect, outstandingly original, and I love it. So much. So much. I could write about it for hours, but I'll spare you. Just read it NOW.
