Pretty good on There Were Times When I Wished You Were Dead
There are times I wished that you were dead, Mr. Author. In fact, I wish for that all of the time, while I read this. Literally, continuously. Like a madman banging on a door. Pleading, screaming to let it end. And you ignore me. You say to me "The torture will continue until more chapters are sold". We both know this will end in tragedy, and we both can't stop.
It's got good art. It's fine, really. Half of the time ML's rack is... Bigger than FL. Not in a manly way, in a "pregnant woman" way. And the writing is fine, too. At least in form.
So, why am I suffering? What am I rambling about? It is simple. The author took a well characterized cast of people. Gave them a relatable and pitiful upbringing. And then he immobilized them in an ever swirling spiral of pain.
Do you know insect collectors? They take the poor creatures and stick them with needles into foam material. Sometimes alive. They freeze them in place, they deny any hope of movement or escape. Forever pinned to show others what pain is. There is a sick beauty to it. The same here. No character has agency, all of them are lost in a whirlwind of complicated and inescapable palace intrigues.
At a certain point I was simply begging for it to stop. "Stop", I said, "FL's heart is already dead." But the plot continues. She isn't that smart, that's true, but what the fu** can she do? And he is a cruel, childish and obsessive piece of sh**, but his reactions are understandable.
So yeah. Nobody gets to be happy. Everyone hurts others. No hope. That's 90 chapters of it. Irreparable psychological damage is inflicted on everything that breaths. Then, somehow, an happy ending. Deserved? Mayhaps. But good luck getting there.
Reccomended for when the maso***** in you awakens its primal urges, you sick, sick fück. 8++ on the Ivern Scale™️. I'm not giving more to it because IT HURT ME AND I HAVE A BOOBOO ON MY HEART NOW.

Meh on Marriage Or Death
Art is very good, translation is awful and hard to follow (still thankful for the translator's efforts but I have to be honest), story starts with potential but maybe because I read too many mangas/manwhas/webtoons it got boring kinda fast. After chapter 35 I skipped 5 chapters at a time and once I reached the end I decided to drop it. It's only my personal opinion, tho. If you are less used to these plots I guess it could be entertaining and nice to read.
