Meh on Lian Shi
Very much not for me. Someone described it as "sickeningly beautiful" which I guess is the best way to describe it, if you're into that sort of thing. Me personally, I'm not a fan of the themes involved.
If you pick this up as a romance, it's not really that, it's closer to a psychological horror drama.
Heavy on the whole "this is an actual corpse, complete with the whole rotting and smelling situation", also heavy on the whole "consent is a word that only applies sometimes and that's not just about the spice but also about being able to make basic choices about his life and his body"
Again, if that's what you're looking for, great, enjoy.
