Pretty good on Lord Of The Mysteries
It's like a Supernatural Steampunk Shelock-holmes drama, and I totally dig it.
-Star #1 goes to the faded, sketch-like art, which gives the story a noir look. There's no highly sexualized imagery, or overuse of gore to make up for a lack of story... because there's a solid body of plot to work with.
-Star #2 goes to the characters. All characters from the MC to single interaction of a stranger makes you wish you knew their history and motivations.
-Star #3 is for the balance between the Supernatural plot and the individual Mysteries that made me binge this story in 2 days.
-Star #4 goes out to the uniqueness of the story.Gods, powers, geography, history, and reason aren't summed up in 2 beginning chapters; they show up just when the reader feels the suspense of really wanting to know more.
- Star #5 was not given because you can tell without reading the web novel that the adaptation from the written story to the manhwa left out a lot. That's just how the industry is though. If the manhwa teams (from the og artists to our website TLs)were allowed to have reasonable deadlines, then the quality wouldn't suffer so.

Sucks big time on The oppressed magic tool maker elopes with a mod butler
Holy sh** on a stick this is bad. The planet this takes place on must be shaped like a donut with the center being the plot holes that this makes. The author has three character types, helpless victim, evil bi***, and out of touch with reality men. The prince literally watches the girl he loves get abused over and over again and does a whole lot of nothing about it until she is so broken she agrees to run away with him. The hate for women in this story is so clear, women are tools is truly the message of this story, it even says so.

Kinda bad on My Mother Gets Married Again
Everyone praising the artstyle but I just can't get past it, it's obnoxiously bright waterpaint style art.
Story itself is pretty gross too, the 'mother' regresses, realizes how terrible she was after her daughter died. she was an alcoholic, abusive, failure of a mother who forced her child to beg and starve since her birth.
Mother was never really 'redeemed' imo, just because the kid doesn't remember dying does not absolve the mother of her sin.
And how did she randomly become Empress anyway? How did she go from noble to bottom of the barrel peasant, to EMPRESS?
