saying this as a ra** survivor these type of things should not but put anywhere not just yaoi. If you think this is good you need to get actuall mental help this is basically po** but in a book.

@Nuxer *gets on soap box* Then don't read if it's going to hurt you. I get it, I can't read anything with stalking in it because of my past experiences. But I know this about myself, and I'm not going to go harassing people who like to read stories with stalking in it or leave nasty reviews on a work that others genuinely like just because I've had a bad experience in irl on the topic.

I do believe that there needs to be a visible warning for the ra**, because that's the base of the story. The lack of assault/ra** indicators on these kind of websites are frustrating. But I will never agree with full censorship. Because full censorship is why so many victims went/continue to go without justice. Do you know of the MeToo movement? Keeping up with the 4B movement? The 100+ women who burned themselves alive in a mass su*cide? All of these extremes are because people want to censor assault victims. And censorship always starts with creative projects like this. Sure, it sounds nice in theory to not have any more stories like this, because it's fake, but what about the stories that are graphic because they're based on real events? Those will get banned too, and then it will jump to the next form of expression, such as journalism or podcasts that will be banned because they could be "triggering". Then it will reach news outlets, controlling how stories come out. And I'm telling you, even though it will be phrased like it's to "protect the victims", it will ALWAYS end up harming them more. 

I'm sorry that there aren't better ways to avoid stories like this with your situation, I truly am, but if you are going to read these reviews and sit here and try to act like you're holier than those of us who can stomache stuff like this, you will get no sympathy. Life doesn't revolve around you, so protect yourself and walk away. People process their traumas in their own way, you don't get to decide how.

@Nuxer also, if you're truly 14, you shouldn't even be looking at these kind of stories to begin with. They're not made for kids, so they will hit harder on you mentally. I'm not telling you to stop reading adult books, but they're adult books for a reason. We know how to separate real life and fantasy and how to recognise personal boundaries that are about to be crossed. If you're 14, your brain is still trying to figure out what a personal boundary looks like which is why adult works are damaging. Please protect yourself and do not engage with adults on adult content.

@acearohippo be for real, audience for this are hormonal teenagers, not assault victims processing trauma 😂 yaoi fans always use this in defense of ra** mangas, knowing very well that's bullshit. and overconsumption of po** is one of the reasons why assault victims are silenced and not treated seriously.

@TerryMG  We're all saying this is a r*pe bl, no one (or mostly no one) is denying that. My review literally says that this is gratuitous r*pe (I actually said gratuitous grape) and torture p*rn. I even started my review stating that this was mindless sm** and is for those to enjoy "sadistic fantasies". I even point out that it can be/is triggering and that there should be a better tagging system. Not once does my review justify r*pe in yaoi. 

On the other hand, my response- separate from my review- to a comment I got discusses a separate topic. The responder said that these type of things aka r*pe "should not be put anywhere not just yaoi" insinuating that any fictional depiction of ra** is wrong and that's why I got on my soapbox. Because that is a broad generalisation that does cover "assault victim processing trauma" related media and is not the correct rhetoric to spread around. 

Finally, to reiterate my previous point to the original responder: You don't get to decide what people find cathartic, why they find it cathartic, or if their trauma enables them to find it cathartic or not. Everyone is different and as long as they're not hurting real people/beings or participating in acts that harm real people/beings (including themselves), then learn to stay in your lane by recognising your personal red flags and triggers.
