Sucks big time on The Rankers Guide to Live an Ordinary Life
This is trash.
Reason: Main character's personality. There was a kid in danger, panic everywhere and all she's thinking about is her bed. She has no purpose at all.
Unlike what the title suggests, what she wants is not an ordinary life but rather she wants to be a b**.
I think we can all agree that a Main Character should have a purpose or goal because we're gonna follow this character for a long time.

Aren't you contradicting yourself? You say that she only thinks about laying on the bed then you say she has no goals or purposes. Can it be that you can't see laying on the bed as a life purpose? You say she is being a bi*** but does the fact that she gained unwanted powers mean that she has the responsibility to save everyone she sees? Isn't that hypocritical?

Laying on the bed isn't a real purpose. If the "goal/purpose" of the main character I'm gonna read for a very LONG time is just to lay in a bed, it's just bad writing. When did I say she's being a b i t c h? I said, she wants to be a b u m and I ain't really with that.

So, she's just a psycho then? I don't know about you but saving a life because you CAN is literally the most humane thing to do.
It's not even about the fact that she needs to go out and find someone who needs help because there's already multiple hunters doing that. It's more of the fact that she could've ended this in a matter of seconds but chose not to.
She's basically saying that getting more sleep is more important than saving a Kid's life.

@Lelouch vi Britannia Look, it is not that I disagree with the fact that it is the most humane thing to do, the other hunters also protect her family after all. And it can be a bit stupid that the author decided to make it more dramatic by making her pondering over her decision, wasting time for nothing. But even so, if you wanted to have the most ethically good heroes, why don't you go watch Marvel? I am not even being sarcastic here, I love psychologicaly complex characters, and that's why I find manhwa with heroes who have no evil in them boring asf. But if that's not your thing, maybe you should read shounen manga or Marvel comic books or watch Marvel movies... I don't know, there is a lot of stuff you can enjoy out there instead of criticising something that it is not that bad

From the point you mentioned inhumane, you were already talking about ethicality. Now you are talking about the plot and everything else being bad. But to be honest I am not even a big fan of this manhwa, but I was arguing something else entirely. This is definitely not 1 star but is also far from being 5 stars and definitely does not surpass three. But what ticks me off is what you complained about. A character who has a goal of not attracting attention from the public, obviously has internal conflicts about saving people in public. It is literally her goal and if she staryed to much from it than this would definitely be 1 star. And thats all I gotta sa

That's literally what makes this a 1 star manhwa. The ENTIRE PURPOSE of this s h i t is to ENTERTAIN. How tf are you gonna entertain people if the Main Character's goal is to prioritize being a b u m over anything else.

@Lelouch vi Britannia I know I am still replying to this 14 year old kid who us too naive to understand that not everyone wants to look good in the eyes of others and that not everyone wants to receive expectations from others. But unfortunately, pushovers have a very difficult time in the world persuing their goals without having to live up to others expectations first. The laying on the bed part is just because she knows that she is a pushover and that if the world expects her to save the world, she will do it even it means risking her life. But she hates those expectations, because she feels forced to live up to them. Not that you would understand, otherwise we would not be having this conversation

She's literally been doing nothing FOR YEARS and other hunters are risking their lives to save the world. Helping once in a while to save a kid should not even be that big of a problem, considering she could've ended it in a matter of seconds. The fact that you're glazing so hard for a poorly written character says alot about the kind of the person you are.

It's just a fictional story with fictional characters, and even so, you're going to extremes by criticizing the protagonist's actions and the author's choices. Sharing your opinion is normal, but imposing it isn't. If you're not satisfied with the protagonist, you can simply stop reading, go to the review section, rate it, and share your personal thoughts. There’s no need to impose your vision on others.
