Art - nice. Or better, the only thing really nice here
Story - Daphne that was raised as illegitimate king's daugther, after discovering that the king was not her real father became servant in the royal palace, befor becoming the new king's mistress. Psychological and se*ual abuse everyday, everywhere, at the point that her lover (the only good one in this story, who really loved her without second meaning) was tortured to death by the prince / new king, facing jealousy, traps, betrayals.
She has multiple occasions to run away but always stayed by the king's side, with an embarassing amount of very weak choices.
Still reading (I'm at chatpter 60, actually) just to see how these bunch of idiots are going to ruin their lifes.
