it's a very much realistic story and if you find it weird I can't blame you but I also don't like you at all. it's not meant to be a romanticised story about childhood love, it's the reality of what having a crush on someone of the same gender (from childhood) is like so if you find that weird you're probably the type of person that romanticises everything which is stupid. also there are a few scenes of him jerking off when he's underage, genuinely stfu if you 'think it's weird' because its natural and a very real experience. boys don't just start off knowing about stuff like that and liking women from pórn mags. that's not how it works.

Pretty good on Vivarium
I don't support r*** stories at all it's really traumatic and shouldn't be put it mangas and meant for a sweet love ending making it seem like r*** is a joke and it's not that bad 🥲 please there's many other options then picking that topic it can be really triggering for some it's a total nightmare if it had another topic that's not so traumatic the story line is really sweet and sad about him being a lab rat and starting to be understood and I hope it gets better just wish the start wasn't so bad
